2008 Fall Festival

Published by pef1996 at 12:14 pm under Church Edit This

As promised, here’s some photos from our Halloween night at church. We had a Fall Festival with games, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, cake walk and more. It was a lot of fun! Here’s our family dressed up. I was a pumpkin queen, Deanna was batgirl, Megan was Sharpay, Kathryn was a ballerina and Jonathan went as an Army solider in PT’s. We were a sight!

Here’s Megan and Kathryn playing a game, put the face on the pumpkin. The liked that game a lot! Here’s Megan with some cotton candy. Jonathan wasn’t too sure of it! He got some in his mouth and was spitting it out!

I forgot to mention that we had a hayride! The kids love the hayride, it was just getting so cold! But they rode it anyway. Here’s Deanna and Jonathan on the ride sitting next to Pastor Doug.  They rode it at least twice, I think it was getting too cold after that!

They also had Trunk or Treat where members of the church decorated their trunks of their cars and handed out candy. It was fun! The kids got lots of candy too. In fact, Jonathan started to figure it out and one car he could reach right in and get candy so he helped himself! It was cute!

So that was our Halloween night! We’ve done this each year we’ve been at the church. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here three years. I hope we’re here another three years and then some!
