Sunday update!
We had a huge Sunday School class yesterday! Actually, we had twelve last week and twelve this week. Whew! They keep me on my toes, that’s for sure. We had a good time doing some different activities to show the point of the story. I got them digging in their Bible so maybe I can get them to do that some more.
I have to get next week’s stuff all together and then I have to get the last Sunday of the month’s lesson done because we will be out of town so I have one of my friend’s teaching the class. I’ve got to get busy!
The Preschool Choir will be performing during the 11AM service next week so I’m super pumped. They practice Sunday night on the stage and did great! I hope they do that well next Sunday morning! I will definitely have someone videotape it and take photos. Well, all the parents take tons of photos!
I don’t know if I mentioned this or not, but we are building a new sanctuary. It’s coming near completion, here’s a photo of the inside. It’s going to be so big compared to what we are in now! Everyone is excited. We’ve had two services for about three yars now, so we’ll be going back to one since it’ll seat 500. They put in the carpet last week and will be putting the pews in this week. This is a photo of the back of the sanctuary. That’s the sound booth up there. You can see lots more photos here. Our pastor takes photos every week or so to update everyone on the progress.
Well, that’s all for today. I’m off to get some stuff done for AWANA’s which is Wednesday and we are doing some Thanksgiving crafts! TTFN!
